How To Properly Install Decorative Window Film
1. Clean your windows to ensure that there will no grease and dirt and other elements left.
2. Check the width and height of the window’s glass surface. Make sure that you would be allowing around half an inch of excess
material for each side of the decorative window film and then cut the window film to size.
3. Lay out the decorative window film that you have cut on a flat and clean surface. Make sure that the release liner is facing up. You could
then remove this liner, as you spray water on the adhesive surface.
4. After that, apply plenty of water on the glass and make sure that you would be covering the whole glass surface with water. You need to
this so that the water could prevent the film and surface from immediately sticking together and would allow you to have sufficient time to
position the film properly.
5. Position the film that is now wet on the glass surface and then spray some water onto the face of the film as well. Remove the water as
well as any air bubbles, which are present using a plastic squeegee starting from the middle to the outer edges of the window film.
6. If there is still water and air bubbles remaining, smooth them out using the squeegee. But be careful to avoid pushing too hard which could
tear the film.
7. Then cut off the leftover film at the edges with a razor, sharp knife and a ruler. It would be advisable to cut using a single continuous
motion.
8. Clean up excess water with paper towels.
